aveda petal essence collection

aveda petal essence

most associate aveda with some of the very best in hair care. their products are top notch in my opinion and their georgetown salon is still one of my favorite places to go for a blowout.

but did you know that they also do makeup?

i’ve been playing with the eye and cheek products from their petal essence collection and i’m so totally excited about the palette that i built for myself using their single eye colors and face accents. something about the colors just screams summer and i can’t wait to pack this baby up for warm weather weekend getaways.

from left to right: hibiscus face accents, and single eye color in lemongrass (light, iridescent green), oceanica (bright island blue), bare bellis (baby pink), and lantana (fresh coral).

the formula on all five components is satiny and soft to the touch. everything is very easy to blend and the combinations are endless. plus, i love that the total face environmental compact‘s magnetic base makes things easy to pop in and out – so if i change my mind it’s no biggie.

this is one makeup collection full of pretty possibilities!

  1. In the last year, I’ve become a huge fan of Aveda makeup. I have their foundation, eye pencils, eyeshadows, the above blush your blog post was about, lipstick/gloss etc. the lip products are especially nice because they smell minty.
